IAR took occupancy June 4, 2007. Construction on the new headquarters building
began in February 2006 in the historic district of downtown Springfield just blocks
from the State Capitol and across from the Governor's mansion.

by Downtown
Springfield, Inc..
The award was
presented to IAR CEO Gary Clayton by the Mayor and Downtown
Springfield Inc., a coalition of business owners charged with
revitalizing the Capital City’s downtown area. The site previously
was a surfaced parking lot for more than 50 years.
