IAR has created a Q & A to answer some of the most common questions related to the upcoming Illinois Managing Broker License renewal. First, many Managing Brokers must complete 18 hours of regular continuing education (minimum of nine hours Core CE and nine hours Elective CE) by April 30, 2013. Plus, if you transitioned your license from Broker to Managing Broker by successfully passing the proficiency exam, you must take 12 hours of interactive Broker Management CE. If you are Managing Broker who was first licensed on or after May 1, 2011, you need only complete 12 hours of regular continuing education (minimum six hours Core CE and six hours Elective CE). To help you reach that goal, IAR also has produced new state-approved Broker Management CE webinars with a great lineup of instructors to offer you a convenient and affordable option from your trusted education provider, the IAR Licensing and Training Center.
