One way you can give back and make a difference is by making a donation to help the victims of the November tornadoes. REALTORS® have raised nearly $200,000 so far. IAR has partnered with two organizations to accept donations. Click below to donate.
Applications for housing assistance grants for those affected by the recent Illinois tornadoes are now available for download on the IAR website. The maximum grant is $1,500 for one individual household and is restricted to co-payments on temporary housing (rentals) and co-payments on mortgages. Click here to learn more or to apply.

A federal bill aimed at "discouraging frivolous patent lawsuits brought by patent holders with hopes of large settlements" has been passed by the U.S. House. NAR supports the bill and wants to see similar legislation passed in the Senate as REALTORS® have been targets of these patent trolls. Read NAR's statement.
